1 More Natural and Freer Yiyun Yang I have studied Chinese traditional dance. After studying modern dance, I found that the two dance styles are somewhat similar, but they have their own different characteristics. Compared with Chinese traditional dance, modern dance is more natural and freer, and pays more attention to emotional expression and eye contact between people. Although the Chinese traditional dance has emotional expression, it pays more attention to the presentation of skills and Chinese national tradition. In this class, I also created my own dance through my own efforts and imagination, which is very memorable. When working on group dance, I realized the importance of teamwork. In addition, dance classes give me the opportunity to exercise and give me time to stretch body in my heavy schoolwork. 2 Little by Little Jinhua Li     Thank you very much, professor, it is a great semester. Dress Rehearsal

Modern Dance   Dress Rehearsal A dress rehearsal is the final rehearsal of a live show, in which everything is done as it would be in a real performance. TIPS The stage is much larger than the classroom and can be intimidating to young dancers The stage lights can be a bit disorienting to young dancers at first Dancers often rely on classroom mirrors to help them with formations and spacing. Having a chance to dance without the security of the mirror before the performance is very important for their confidence. Dancers have the chance to practice their stage entrances and exits and get used to being in such a large space. Confidence is critical to a successful performance. Having a rehearsal offers your dancer the chance to feel ready for the show. Source:  https://www.kaleidoscopedance.com/helpful-tips-for-dress-rehearsal/
